Excellent service, great location, slept amazingly, Iwas relaxed after just a few hours and I got exactly what I wanted
I loved the view for the sunsets . Loved the three pools and that there were so many lounger chairs. The staff were all wonderful and helpful without being overly hyper. Gift shop on site with advil for when my sister had a headache. Outside Showers everywhere. Tons of spots to swim so you felt like you had the space to yourself. Unlike most places in Negril it wasn’t dead but it also wasn’t annoyingly noisy! I got to read my book and we were able to hear ourselves talk when by the bar. They had major sporting events on so you could watch but not irritate those who didn’t want it. Food was fairly basic but a lot of it and decent (the fries and the soups were excellent) We had booked Garden and got upgraded to ocean front. We stayed in the older section. It was clean and well maintained. Water pressure was good and nice sized TV! We all watched tennis all weekend. HUGE balcony space with great views of the Negril sunset. Next time I’ll def book the newer section though which comes with a fridge. I was told we could have gotten one on request but we didn’t bother. I also slept incredibly well! Wonderfully comfortable beds.
No lights in the pool after it got dark. I love a night swim and it kind of killed that for me. It also kills those areas at night in terms of just hanging out. A shame as it is a nice sized property and I would have hung out more outside rather than my balcony if there had even been light in one of the pools. I am a firm believer that every hotel room should at least have a kettle!! I always travel with my own portable one just in case but this I think should be standard. This is just a suggestion not a criticism - The bedspreads are very 70s/80s. It dates the place. They are tropical themed but in the way Miami Vice is. It makes the old section look older and the lovely modern rooms look frumpy. With a bedspread decor switch the impression of the rooms would immediately jump up a notch.

What was the highlight of Samsara Cliff Resort
We had a wonderful time and will certainly return.
I love the location. The value for the cost was more than I expected. Samsara is well worn, however it is worn in a comfortable at home feeling. Snorkeling right in front of the property was excellent. I snorkeled a couple of times everyday and saw at least 22 different types of fish and two types of stingrays. Samsara has an awesomely relaxing atmosphere.
My only problem with Samsara was that I didn't get the rooms that I booked. I booked two of the garden side cottages. When we arrived there was only one cottage available. They upgraded us to two ocean view rooms side by side. The view was beautiful, however, the rooms were the old fashioned, tight for space, only room for two chairs on the balcony type of rooms. With 6 adults, it was a squeeze. The garden side cottages have bigger rooms. They also have bigger deck areas which accommodate 6 adults better.

Peace of paradise
We loved Samsara. The ladies up front and at the bar are great! There was a bad sea storm prior to us arriving, so they were some things they were fixing, but that being said, you wouldn't have noticed..the view is to die for! Also, it has 2 cliffs. You can jump off or use the ladder.
3rd floor. Sucks when you have luggage to bring up or down.
